Shelby Township's 2008 Halloween Boo Bash
The Shelby Township Parks, Recreation and Maintenance Department hosted its annual Halloween event, the Boo Bash, on Saturday, October 18th. Our municipal grounds provided the setting for all of our ghosts, goblins, pirates and princesses! This free event was sponsored by Deborah’s Stage Door, who also dazzled us with a stage performance! This year we were excited to have Tootsee the Clown join us for the afternoon. The Eisenhower High School Key Club volunteered their time to assist us in running games and crafts for the kids and serving cider, donuts and popcorn. The Burgess Shadbush Nature Center brought live animals for the visitors to touch and learn about. All Around Bounce donated an inflatable for the kids to jump in and several area businesses donated candy for the kids who attended. A spooktacular time was had by all who attended!
