Kid's Day at River Bends Park

The Shelby Township Parks, Recreation and Maintenance Department hosted its 9th Annual Kid’s Day on Wednesday, June 18.  The free event was hosted by National City Bank and DTE Energy.  The kind folks at National City volunteered their time to come out and hand out balloons and other goodies to the children.  Dancers from Deborah’s Stage Door gave a performance, DJ Tony Tweed and Toot-see the Clown also entertained.  The Shadbush Nature Center staff brought live animals for visitors to see, touch, and learn about.  Members from the Parks & Recreation Committee as well as staff members from Parks, Recreation and Maintenance Department ran a variety of games.
