1st Annual Trunk or Treat is a Howling Hit!

On Saturday, October 31, 2009 the Shelby Parks, Recreation and Maintenance Department in cooperation with Cherry Creek Golf & Banquet Center hosted its first ever Trunk or Treat Event.  Despite the chilly weather, the day was a spooktacular success with over 150 ghouls, goblins, robots, rabbits, princesses, policemen, and even a pint-sized politician went trunk to trunk for treats from over 40 vehicles, including the Parks & Recreation “Cat” and vehicles from local businesses and organizations.

Cherry Creek provided free hayrides around the golf course and offered refreshments and a special Halloween Brunch.
